Oct 7 2021: Our demo "Augmented Reality for Subsurface Utility Engineering, Revisited" together with Lasse H. Hansen, Philipp Fleck, Marco Stranner and Dieter Schmalstieg has won the best demo award at ISMAR 2021.
Aug 9 2021: Our paper "Augmented Reality for Subsurface Utility Engineering, Revisited" together with Lasse H. Hansen, Philipp Fleck, Marco Stranner and Dieter Schmalstieg has been accepted as a TVCG journal paper with ISMAR 2021 oral presentation in October 2021.
Oct 5 2020: Our paper "Single-Shot Deep Volumetric Regression for Mobile Medical Augmented Reality" together with Florian Karner, Christina Gsaxner, Antonio Pepe, Jianning Li, Philipp Fleck, Jürgen Wallner, and Jan Egger has been presented at the MICCAI 2020 workshop and has won the best paper award!
Sep 07 2020: Our paper "Creating IoT-ready XR-WebApps with Unity3D" together with Philipp Fleck and Dieter Schmalstieg has been accepted for presentation at Web3D 2020.
Apr 15 2020: Our paper "Improving RGB Image Consistency for Depth-Camera based Reconstruction through Image Warping" together with Fernando Reyes-Aviles, Philipp Fleck and Dieter Schmalstieg has been accepted for presentation at WSCG 2020.
Dec 21 2019: Our papers “MAUI: Tele-Assistence for Maintenance of Cyber-Physical Systems" together with Philipp Fleck, Fernando Reyes-Aviles, Christian Pirchheim, and D. Schmalstieg, and "Learning Effective Sparse Sampling Strategies using Deep Active Sensing" together with Mehdi Stapleton, Dieter Schmalstieg and Thomas Gloor have been accepted as oral and poster to VISAPP in Valetta in February 2020.
Aug 7 2019: Our paper “A High-Precision Localization Device for Outdoor Augmented Reality" together with Marco Stranner, Philipp Fleck and Dieter Schmalstieg has been accepted as poster to ISMAR in Beijing in October 2019.
June 26 2019: Our paper “Towards SLAM-based Outdoor Localization using Poor GPS and 2.5D Building Models" together with Ruyu Liu, Jianhua Zhang and Shengyong Chen has been accepted for presentation to ISMAR in Beijing in October 2019.
Oct 5 2018: Our papers “Measurement Uncertainty Analysis of a Robotic Total Station Simulation" and "Semi-Automatic Registration of a Robotic Total Station and a CAD Model Without Control Points" together with Christoph Klug, Thomas Gloor and Dieter Schmalstieg have been accepted to IECON (Industrial Electron. Conf.) in October 2018.
Sep 23 2018: Our paper “A Complete Workfow for Automatic Forward Kinematics Model Extraction of Robotic Total Stations Using the Denavit-Hartenberg Convention" together with Christoph Klug, Thomas Gloor and Dieter Schmalstieg has been published in IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing.
July 13 2018: Our paper “Semantic Segmentation of Geometric Primitives in Dense 3D Point Clouds” together with Ana Stanescu, Philipp Fleck and Dieter Schmalstieg has been accepted to IEEE ISMAR in Munich in October 2018.
January 25 2018: Our paper “Incremental Structural Modeling Based on Geometric and Statistical Analyses” together with Rafael Roberto et.al. has been accepted to IEEE WACV in Lake Tahoe in March 2018.
January 10 2018: Our paper “Efficient Physics-Based Implementation for Realistic Hand-Object Interaction in Virtual Reality” together with Markus Höll, Markus Oberweger and Vincent Lepetit has been accepted to IEEE VR in Reutlingen, Germany, in March 2018.

Oct 3 2015: I won the best paper award together with Christian Pirchheim, Jonathan Ventura, Dieter Schmalstieg and Vincent Lepetit at ISMAR 2015.
